The Essex Care Association Women's Leadership Network has been established to create a supportive space for women. This network allows us to champion one another and grow in skills and confidence. Our goal is to support our current managers and leaders while nurturing the next generation of managers and leaders in social care.

4th Meeting - Summer Check In!

We know how hectic summer can get with holidays and childcare. So, we've decided our next Women in Leadership Network meeting will be a Summer Check-in online on Microsoft Teams!

This means you can drop in at any point to recap what we've covered in our last two sessions. We hope this flexible approach makes it easier for you to join us.

We are passionate about seeing women achieve and progress in their roles to a level they are happy with. Social Care is a very female dominated sector, up to a certain point, yet so many of us possess all of the skills required to progress if we wish to, so what is preventing the progression – Confidence? Time? Already feeling stretched enough with work and home life? A touch of imposter syndrome?

Management can also be a very lonely place, so, we are thrilled to be involved in getting the Women in Leadership group off the ground as a way to address and support each other with all of the above.

This network is completely FREE to join and has been created for ECA Members working in the social care sector in Essex.
